We provide consulting services for Pension and Health Care Benefit Plans. Consulting services include:
  • Assist and design plan benefit formulas and eligibility requirements.
  • Assist plan attorneys in the drafiting of plan documents.
  • Help the plan maintain its's exempt status.
  • Establish administrative office systems and procedures.
  • Report on Health Plan claim experience reserve requirements, contribution levels and project future financial data.
  • Design and follow up responses on all request for proposals.
  • Advise trustees on legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of all government filings.
  • Design communication materials and plan correspondence.


    • Administrative Oversight

    We can assist your administrative office on a limited as needed consulting basis or provide more extenisve services including:
  • Review all meeting materials including agendas, minutes,appeals, disbursements, correspondence and all other materials prepared by the administrative office in preparation for presentation at the
  • Board of Trustees meeting
  • Attend all Trustee committee and full board meetings.
  • Analysis and prepare projections, estimates and other reports in connection with the plan's contribution requirements, benefit changes and eligibility requirements
  • Helping to maintain the plan's tax exempt status.
  • Establishing administrative systems and procedures.
  • Work closely with plan administrators. Reporting on plan operations including claim experience and reserve requirements.
  • Drafting and analyzing request for proposals for other plan advisors.
  • Providing advice on legislation and regulations including the HIPAA privacy provisions.
  • Preparing government filings.
  • Designing communication materials for participants.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training of administrative personnel on all aspects of the Benefit Advisors, Inc. union software.
  • Oversee the implementation and transition of computer and accounting services.
